Tier 4 level of restrictions

Good afternoon,

You may well be aware that the Government has moved Greater Manchester into the Tier 4 level of restrictions from midnight tonight. This effect of this for the Club is that we will only be allowed to play golf in 2s. The exception to this is if you are with other members of the same household or bubble.

Therefore, all current bookings on the tee sheet from today will be removed and the sheet reconfigured for 2 players only. Competitions will be cancelled for the time being and any fees paid refunded. The tee sheets for Saturday and Sunday will be available for social golf in 2s for members whose category of membership allows them to play at the weekend. Because there will be a reduced number of times available, it would be appreciated if each member limits their bookings to 1 per weekend.

The access to the clubhouse will be limited to the same restrictions outlined in previous emails.

We have been given very little notice of the restrictions and we have no doubt England Golf will issue guidance on the situation in the near future. As soon as they do, we will issue further information. In the meantime, please bear with us in trying to manage these difficult circumstances.
